Microsoft Word - Lesson (MWL-01-Introduction)

 Dear Students

Microsoft Word is a word-processing software made by Microsoft Corporation.  Microsoft Word is used for writing letter, newspapers, books, reports etc. etc.   Today we will start learning MS Word by starting how to open Word in windows 10.

1. Click on Start button
2. Click on MS Word

The other way is:

in the search bar write "Word" and press enter ,when Microsoft Word opens it looks like that as shown below:

you will see a blinking spot which is called cursor. When you insert text you will have to take this cursor to that place.  It moves when you press the spacebar button on keyboard, and go to next line when you press the Enter button on keyboard. 

The interface of MS Word 2016: 

Now I will explain that interface of Word.  The highlighted area in Word is called Tabs.

 The Below picture show the area which is called Ribbon. Each tab has its own commands in Ribbon area.
